Overview
.
SOUFA is an aqueous solution consisting mainly of sodium polyborate. It is effective in preserving termites and preservatives, as well as adding flame resistance to cellulose.
SOUFA is a solution of sodium polyborate.
.
Separation of components
.
The drop in outside temperatures during the winter (mainly from November to March) causes the active ingredients to precipitate.
Sedimentation is a phenomenon in which the active ingredient hardens at the bottom of the container.
Sedimentation begins at approximately 5°C, and it is believed that precipitation occurs during winter transport.
.
Re dissolution
.
■Re-dissolving is possible by increasing the temperature of the aqueous solution to 60°C or more.
■ Aqueous solution temperature can be re-dissolved at 60°C or higher.
.
Melting Method
.
Warm the entire container in a hot water bath with a tarai or bucket to break down the clumps and stir them.
*It takes longer to heat the solution.
*This is not suitable for a 20-kg container because it has a large amount of aqueous solution and does not heat up easily.
Condensing
.
Stick heaters
(1) Put a stick heater directly into the container and mix it while breaking down the mass.
*It can be heated in a relatively short time.
*Be careful not to damage the container when breaking up the lumps.
*Please be careful not to break the container when breaking up the lumps.
.
(2) Pour the contents into a pail or other container and stir to break up the clumps.
*The fastest way to heat the pail is to use a multiple bar heater.
*If you use multiple bar heaters, you can heat it in a shorter time.
*If you use multiple bar heaters, you can heat the pail faster.
